🇷🇺💥🇺🇦 RUSSIA’S THIRD BALLISTIC ATTACK ON KYIV IN A WEEK — 5 ISKANDER-M MISSILES STRIKE CAPITAL, NONE INTERCEPTED…!!

On the night of July 8, Russia launched five Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea and Russia’s Bryansk region, along with two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles and 169 drones. This marked the third ballistic attack on Kyiv in a week. Ukraine’s air defense intercepted none of the ballistic missiles.

Missiles struck four locations. Fires broke out in the Desnianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. A warehouse in Desnianskyi was hit, and a transport depot for Kyivmetrobud was also struck. Thermal Power Plant No. 5 was hit, sparking a fire. Thermal Power Plant No. 6 was also struck, with witnesses reporting a mushroom cloud. The Vizar missile plant was hit. Russian sources also claimed to have struck the Samsung Ukraine plant, which was allegedly producing components for Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missiles. An ammunition and equipment storage hangar, containing US-supplied Abrams tanks, was also destroyed.

At least one woman was killed, and two others injured. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported warehouse fires and advised residents to stay in shelters. The smell of smoke was noticeable across the city.

Despite intercepting 139 of the 169 drones and drones hitting 11 locations, air defense again failed against ballistic missiles. The attack coincided with the start of the NATO summit in Ankara, where President Zelensky urgently requested additional Patriot interceptors.
